K2 Health Products is a manufacturer of Kolbs Cushions and Inspire Incontinence Products. In the past we have done mostly printed materials for them, like product sell sheets and consumer packaging designs. So when they approached us to redesign their web site, we were excited and ready for the challenge.

THE OBJECTIVE: When we met with the K2 Health team to discuss the details on what they were looking for and expect in the new web site design, they made it clear they wanted to start from scratch and implement a admin page so they would have the ability to change content and add product images when needed. Our goal was to integrate the new branding we created for them into the web site and make the admin page extremely user friendly.

THE PROCESS: The current web site seemed fragmented and was not cohesive throughout each web page. So we gathered all the design elements we used in previous projects we designed for them together and decided to integrate them into the web site. We assigned a particular color to each product and made the product images larger and the ability of multiple views. Access to product images was clear and easy to navigate. We wanted to give the web site a more visual impact to the end-user. To do so, we used larger photos of people throughout the site.

THE RESULT: A cohesive web site that combines functionality and visuals, giving the end-user better access to information and giving our client an easier way to give out that information.
